The winners of the Open Video Contest were announced last Thursday at the Wireside Chat with Lawrence Lessig. We’d like to send a big congratulations to Amani Channel, our first place prize winner, and runners up Elvina Beck, Kasia Cieplak, and Raffaella Traniello. The contest really highlighted the diversity and talent of the open video community, and we offer our sincerest thanks for all of the great submissions we received. Lastly, our thanks to our five all star judges: Jesse Dylan; Mitchell Baker; Jimmy Wales; Elizabeth Stark; and Matt Asay.

can’t understand your choice. there were many videos with much more background, style and aesthetic than the winner ones posted up here. it’s a terrible pity and embarrassing, too.
Im also not able to understand your decision. There are some videos which definitely outbid the videos which win, in creativeness as well in design. Seems to me a bit collusive.
I also cant believe that the jury decided like that! There are absolutely better videos contributed to this contest. Shame on this contest!
ok, its completely clear that the winner videos are not the cleverest, imaginativest, or coolest ones within this contest. but … wait, there is not any but. cant understand the jury!
